Music Video: Shower By Becky G
This music video took many days to finish filming.By the third day of filming I decided to add an extra scene which was the swing scene. Both the filming and editing process for this music video took a long time to complete. To film the different scenarios, I had to go to many different settings.Getting the different settings for the scenes were worth it because it contributed greatly of telling the storyline. The editing process was less difficult but still took more time than usual. Overall, the process of getting the finish product was difficult. However, some scenes like the pool scenes were easy to film. This filming project was an opportunity to express my creativity. The scenes shown in the music video contributes heavily to the story that is being told. The story is that a young teenage girl having a crush on a guy. This story involved an actress holding a picture of the boy almost everywhere she goes. This music video involved a lot of romantic emotion that can be seen as a type of obsession. Most importantly, the scenes are a visual of the lyrics that are being said throughout the video. Also, the music video showcases what genre it belongs in.The main genre is dance pop and that is being showcased through the 4th of July scenes. The type of settings used in this genre is seen within my scenes of this music video. The video shows all aspects of its genre while telling a relatable story. Moreover, this music video felt more like shooting a movie trailer than just filming a music video. However, I now know how much work and effort it takes just to produce one music video.
