The commercial I am doing is an Adidas commercial. Adidas commercials has a specific setting that occurs during the commercial. Theses type of commercials value being active and communicates strongly their passion for sports. The most commonly seen setting in these commercials takes place in a locker room, gym, and/or a sport activity. The audience usually sees people doing activities that involve being active(walking, jogging, squats, etc). They wear costumes like active sport wear, tennis shoes, comfortable loose fitted clothes, and headbands. The props include Adidas shirt, jacket, shoes, basketballs, jump ropes, and many many more sport props. The visual that is most likely to be shown from the actors are sweatiness, becoming fit, and showing concentration on their activity. The tone of the commercial is to persuade the audience to never give up and to help motivate accomplishing goals. Also, the commercial is direct and at a fast pace to capture the settings. The Adidas commercial highlights the importance of being healthy physically and mentally.  The conventions and codes in the Adidas commercials are the Adidas logo and it's name underneath the logo. Also, the Adidas slogan was "Impossible is Nothing". This slogan means everything is possible and can be accomplished no matter what. This slogan conveys their message that you should never give up. The new slogan is "Adidas is all in" which means Adidas is from anyone and everything. In the Adidas commercials the camera angle is positioned to show off the props clearly. The props are positioned to show off the brand which is the Adidas name and logo. The Adidas brand logo is distinctive so just showing the logo can tell the audience it is an Adidas commercial. The commercial usually show athletes, actors, or just someone that is famous. This gives people the idea that Adidas can be bought by anyone. Moreover, the commercial sometime contains a certain group of people to show culture and variety of people.
