Props We Are Going To Use (production blog)

I have written a list of props needed for this film to seem realistic and stay organized. Sonali and I only know the main props we are going to use. The props that are the main are missing person's flyers, duct tape, rope, phones, and a water bottle. We are not sure if we wanted to add on to our props list or keep it how it is now with just 5 props on the list. I already had most of these props on the list since most of these things I already had at home. The first prop I found is phones which of course is self explanatory. However, if it is not self explanatory to you, I have 2 phones which both can be used as a prop. The next prop I looked around my house for is duct tape which I found. I have yet to find any rope so if Sonali does not find any, we could buy some or improvise. Instead of using rope we could use zip ties because I have some at my house. The next prop is a water bottle which is one the easiest props to get since it is a necessity to have in my life. Last but not least the missing person's flyer prop. Sonali and I have yet to start printing those out for many different reasons. The first reason is that we have not started editing my sister's information on one. The second reason is that we do not know exactly how much copies we need. The third reason is that we have yet to establish who is printing it. The fourth reason is that since we are  starting to film next week, we can wait until then so we will not lose any copies if we were to print it out. Moreover, a prop we may add is a knife to make the kidnapping scene look more threatening and realistic. The knife would be the reason why the kidnapper got away with pulling the victim in his car quietly. Basically, the knife would help the audience see the one of the many reasons why the kidnapper held control and why the victim did not try to escape every chance she got.
