Editing blog: Getting the exact seconds

First, I placed all the scenes in the exact order I wanted it to be. While editing I was trying to mute some of the background noises in the scenes. I tried to align the scenes with the words that were being said throughout the commercial. The hardest part of the editing process was getting the right time duration. To get the right amount of time, I had to speed and slow down certain scenes. I edited the film on my phone because I felt it was easier to maneuver the app on it.When I first edited the video it was too long. The commercial was 40 seconds long so I had to edit 10 seconds worth of scenes out. I cut down the sixth scene where it was conversation going on between the actors.I took little parts of most of the scenes and showed them in the beginning as a teaser.I made sure to emphasize the beginning by adding the words that the narrator is saying on the screen. The rest of the commercial follows an order based on the beginning. The middle and end of the film are extended clips of the beginning.I added background music with like a  fast pace to add to the athletic vision Adidas goes for. Also, I added a narrator to spread motivational words throughout the commercial. However, I wanted the music to be lower than the voice of the narrator to ensure people could hear the words.I edited the volume of the music to be faded during the film. The dribbling scene was edited so the audience can hear the ball bouncing, music, and the narrator. The scene that involved family showcases their conversation instead of the narrator talking. Most importantly, the last scene where the actors say the slogan is edited specifically that the audience only can hear the slogan that is being said.
